School Bus Rock – 90s

This playlist contains some of the big hits of the 90s. All these hits were made years before you were born, yet many can be hear on Classic Rock radio to this day. Its interesting to note that when I was in high school there were no radio stations playing hit songs from before I was born.

The Smashing Pumpkins

Billy Corgan and The Smashing Pumpkins are one of my favorite bands from the 90s. Their music only gets better the more you listen to them!

Foo Fighters

Foo Fighters was a very successful group from the 90s. What is notable is that Dave Grohl, the man behind the band, was with Nirvana. When Kurt Cobain died many critics said that was it for the rest of the members of Nirvana. Dave Grohl proved those critics to be terribly wrong! Also, the name Foo Fighters refers to UFOs that WWII fighter planes would encounter on a regular basis.

The Offspring

The Offspring had many hits during the 90s and were routinely heard on local rock radio stations.

This was one of those tracks that blew people away when it was released. It sounded so different than anything that had been released in the past.

CANADIAN ARTISTS

The 90s saw a lot of successful Canadian artists. In this playlist you will find Sum41, Three Days Grace, and The Tea Party.
